Heat Stress can do a number on your yard. What can you do?

For most of us, summer is not a season of stress. For lawns though, it is. Consistent hot and dry weather over a long period of time can lead to heat or moisture stress. This can cause your lawn to turn brown and even invite a variety of weeds and pests. To keep your lawn at its best and limit the hot summer damage, you should familiarize yourself with some of the basics of this issue.

Signs of Heat Stress on Lawn

On the bright side, heat stress is not that difficult to identify. Early on, your lawn may need a drink if footprints remain on the grass hours after walking on it or if the grass appears discolored. It usually turns gray or a darker shade of green before going brown.

When the effects of stress start to substantially impact your turf, grass blades may curl or turn brown at the tips. If you notice brown patches throughout your yard, this could actually be the result of a variety of different problems. All of these issues are worsened by drought.

Possible Underlying Issues

  • If the lawn in these areas can be lifted up like a carpet, you may have a grub infestation since these insect larvae eat at the grass roots.
  • Push a screwdriver into your lawn. If it becomes difficult and does not go in smoothly, the lawn needs moisture and aeration.
  • A brown lawn could also be the result of chinch bugs or other surface feeding insects.

In all of these cases, your lawn will experience great difficulty taking in the nutrients it needs. If you notice any of these signs in your yard during the hot summer months, it would be wise to take precautions against heat stress.

Treating Stressed Grass

  • Don’t compact the soil. If your lawn experiences a lot of foot traffic or heavy mowing equipment, your soil will become compacted. Then it will be difficult for air to get to the roots. If your lawn suffers from this problem, you’ll need to aerate in order to relieve the stress.
  • Water deeply, but not often. Watering lightly every day will produce shallow roots that won’t be equipped to handle hot and dry weather very well. Your lawn should receive 1/3 an inch of water every other day in order to remain strong and drought-resistant. Water in the morning to avoid the afternoon’s high evaporation rates and the possible fungus risks your lawn could face if irrigated at night. Shoot for 6-10 am.
  • Adjust fertilizer applications to avoid damage. In high stress periods, light applications will keep your lawn healthy or assist in recovery. Check periodically for signs of fungus and schedule a treatment as soon as possible.
  • If the drought is severe enough, let it go dormant. In conditions when the heat is just too much for your grass to overcome, it will essentially shut down until cool, moist weather returns. During this condition, you should irrigate your lawn at least once per week.
  • If you have a newly-planted lawn, don’t let it go dormant. Every rule has an exception. Allowing new turf to dry up and die can have crippling long term effects. Since it has shallow roots it may not be able to recover from extreme stress. It is critical to keep up with irrigation. Also refrain from compacting the soil in order to keep these lawns alive and well.

Relief from Heat Stress will come in the Fall

When autumn comes, your lawn should begin to recover from heat stress. Keeping up with seasonal lawn care is an essential part of maintaining healthy grass and can produce a wonderful lawn if performed correctly.

Garden Care

FIne garden with beautiful lawn, trees and perennials

Did You Know?

What do you know about Fine Garden Care? A Fine Gardener’s singular goal is to vigilantly care for the soil, plants, and design compositions viewed through the lens of a dynamic natural system. This means that we must look at the garden with the eyes of a trainer and a caretaker. Consequently, we ask, “How can we make this perform better, look better, and be healthier?”

For Fine Garden Care, our goal is to nurture both plants and soil to achieve high performance over time. Primarily, that performance is connected to ecological health. However, it is also tethered to the presentation of the garden. It is also important that the presentation pleases the garden owner.  Since beauty is in the eye of the beholder, it lives on a continuum of expression stretching from formal order to wild order. It is up to the Fine Gardener and landowner to determine where on the continuum the landscape will live.

To this end, the Fine Gardener will make changes and subtle shifts within gardens, keeping the original design intent in mind. While doing so, they will keep a firm watch on the evolution of plants and how that affects the space and its uses over time.

The Cole Way

Cole Landscape specializes in partnered Fine Gardening Landscape Care with homeowners. Partnering enables us to supply care at the level best suited for you and your landscape. It also enables us to dovetail our specialties with our other landscape services that we are currently providing for you.

In our family of clients, we have active gardeners who spend many hours in their own landscapes each month. And we have garden enthusiasts who would like to spend more time in their landscape, but life does not allow them the time needed to do the necessary work. We also have clients who appreciate the value of their landscape and all its gardens have to offer but have no interest in doing the gardening tasks themselves.

A Fine Garden Plan for Your Lifestyle

There is no right or wrong answer for the best approach – simply a matter of  different lifestyles and needs. By using the information shared here, we hope you can start to get a feel for what your land management needs are. Let us help tend to them with of our Fine Gardening Care blocks of time.

Six Areas of Fine Garden Care Management
Six Areas of Fine Garden Care Management
Six Areas Of Fine Garden Care Management

Fine Gardening requires the regular consideration of the following six areas of management. Do not leave any of them out or else your landscape risks deterioration into chaos. Here is what you can expect from our team during your time block.

  1. Edging Beds

Cut lawn edges to demarcate planting beds and lawn areas; keep the lawn from spreading into what it considers empty spaces. In some cases, perennials and groundcovers want to return the favor and spread into lawn spaces. The goal is a healthy cohabitation without invasion so that there is a neat edge with a well-shaped flow that draws your eye through the landscape in a gentle and pleasing way.

  2. Pruning Woody Ornamental Plants

We prune trees and shrubs at the appropriate time in their growth cycles. Not all plants can or should be pruned at the same time, so be aware that spring, summer, and fall pruning needs are different. There are times when we will suggest that plants be pruned in the wintertime as well. Additionally, all plant types are not pruned in the same way. Understanding horticultural differences is critical in getting this job done right.

  3. Deadheading/Dividing/Transplanting/Removal

Gardens mature and age over time at different paces. As a consequence, plants may need varying attention over the seasons as they mature and respond to seasonal fluctuations. Light pruning and deadheading of herbaceous plants (like perennials) are necessary as these plants move through their normal flowering cycle. Older, more mature plants may need heavier-handed attention if they become too big or are no longer performing well in a particular location. Dividing and transplanting perennials that have outgrown their current space can make more room in the old location and provide an additional plants to utilize in other, open areas. Moving out shrubs to make more room and fill new spaces can be extremely effective in getting more performance out of an area and the plants in that garden. Most often we perform this kind of work in the spring and fall.

  4. General Weed & Bed Management

Weeding is a necessary “evil” that should not be avoided. Good bed management also means managing moss and overly aggressive perennials and woody plants that are seeding themselves in the landscape. Primarily, the goal is to keep the garden managed. You need to prevent undesirable plants from getting a foothold in the soil or, worse, entangled in the root systems of the desirable plants. If you skip weeding, you ensure that the problem will increase. This is because weeds also have a flowering and seed setting cycle (just like the desirable plants). When they are left unchecked, those weeds repopulate the soil with more seeds to germinate in the next season and many seasons thereafter. It takes only one seeding to create weeds for several years to come.

  5. Soil Health & Remediation

Soils deficient in organic matter, minerals, and/or nutrients should be treated to improve conditions for plants. It may be necessary to apply lime applications in the fall to improve the vitality and performance of ornamental garden areas. We recommend soil testing  to understand the soil chemistry more fully. As as result we can determine appropriate fertilization programs as well as more steps for soil remediation. Simply adding fertilizer on a yearly basis is not only ineffective, but it can also be costly. We suggest organic compost for use with all plantings/transplanting. We also recommend organic mulches – simple undyed bark and/or leaf mold – as a follow-up to all the above work. Balanced soils help reduce or eliminate moss, yellowed leaves, insect predation, and at times even helps reduce weeds. Most important, healthy soils have a better chance of supporting plants through times of drought.

  6. Watering Strategies

Proper hydration is one of the key ingredients for a healthy landscape. First of all, proper hydration promotes healthy soil. Secondly, it supports the right plants in the right places. Thirdly, it helps provide adequate acclimation time for new plants. Plants should only be moved if the homeowner is able to reliably monitor and water them. It should be noted that irrigation systems are not adequate for watering transplants. They also should not be set and left unchecked – this is a root cause of much of our seasonal water shortages. It is important to be aware of factors that may impede proper hydration, such as competition from trees, overcrowded plantings, and areas over-exposed to the elements, to name a few. If this is the case, a change in plant care strategy may be necessary.

There is still time to protect your landscape for healthy growth next spring!

Protect your landscape this winter. Extreme weather can take a toll on your landscape plants. Every spring, we unfortunately see plants that have been hit by a tough winter discover and discover the damage it can cause to trees and shrubs. Fortunately, there are steps you can do now to prepare plants for what’s coming.

Extreme cold isn’t the only challenge faced by woody plants; in fact, plants hardy to your region should endure normal winter temperatures just fine. However, winter can wreak havoc in other ways.

Early cold spells can damage plant tissues that haven’t had a chance to harden off for the winter.

  • Dry winds and winter sun can dry out or “burn” conifer needles and broadleaf evergreen foliage, which continue to transpire (give off water vapor) during winter.
  • Frozen soil means plants can’t take up water to replace the moisture lost from evaporation and transpiration.
  • Midwinter thaws can “fool” plants into breaking dormancy too early, and the tender new growth may be killed by the next cold snap.
  • Alternating freeze/thaw cycles can heave new plants out of the ground, leaving roots exposed to drying wind and sun.
  • Bright winter sun heats up dark tree bark, which can freeze and crack when temperatures drop quickly at sunset.
  • Deer, mice, rabbits and other animals gnaw bark and browse leaves and twigs when other food becomes scarce during long, cold winters.

Although wet, heavy snow can damage branches, snow cover is usually good for plants. A layer of snow provides moisture and helps insulate the soil and roots from fluctuating temperatures.

Preventative measure to protect winter landscape
Protect delicate plantings on your landscape from harsh winter weather

If you have Deciduous Trees and Shrubs

Mature trees and shrubs that are hardy in your region need no extra protection. However, young and newly planted trees and shrubs benefit from some extra TLC:

  • Because plant roots may not have ventured very far into the native soil, it’s especially important to water newly planted trees and shrubs thoroughly into fall, until the ground freezes.
  • Once the ground is frozen, apply a 3″ to 4″ layer of insulating mulch, such as bark mulch or pine straw, around the base of the plant. This helps insulate the soil so it stays frozen and helps prevent heaving. Keep the mulch several inches away from the trunk to prevent rot and discourage rodent chewing.
  • Tender young bark is easily damaged by gnawing mice and rabbits. Protect the trunks of young trees — especially fruit trees — with tree guards made of plastic or wire.
  • The bark of young trees is also susceptible to sunscald. Paint the south side of the trunk with a solution of diluted white interior latex paint or wrap the trunk with paper tree wrap. This also helps prevent frost cracks, which occur when dark-colored bark heats up on a sunny winter day and then rapidly cools at night.

If you have Conifers and Broadleaf Evergreens

Trees and shrubs that remain green — conifers and broadleaf evergreens, such as rhododendrons — slow their growth but never go fully dormant. It’s especially important that they have a ready supply of water whenever the ground isn’t frozen.

  1. Drying winter winds are especially damaging to evergreens. In exposed, windy areas, erecting a windbreak helps prevent damage, as can wrapping shrubs with burlap.
  2. If branches are bending under the weight of a heavy snowfall, gently remove some of the snow. However, don’t try to remove ice after an ice storm; you’re likely to cause more harm than good.
  3. Some evergreens, notably white pines, are susceptible to damage by road salt sprayed onto branches by passing snowplows. In spring, you’ll see brown needles on the road-facing side of the tree. Protect hedges and shrubs with burlap or shrub wraps. On taller trees, there is little you can do; consider replanting with more salt-tolerant species.
  4. Keep deer from browsing on hedges and shrubs by wrapping them with burlap or shrub wraps.
Winter Pruning and Fruit Tree Protection
Winter Pruning & Fruit Tree Protection

Winter Pruning

Pruning is an essential part of plant care, but you must take care to prune at the correct time of year. Some plants require winter pruning when they’re dormant. This prepares your plants to focus on growing flowers and fruit when they emerge in the spring. It also maintains a healthy shape and reduces the risk of diseases taking over.

Some of the plants to put on your winter pruning to do list should include:  grapevines, autumn-fruiting raspberries, figs, wisteria, roses, apple and pear trees, deciduous shrubs, and multiple fruit bushes – such as blueberries, gooseberries, or red currants.

Your goal with your winter pruning of fruit bushes is to remove old wood and create the best shape. Doing so leaves behind the healthy, young branches to produce large harvests each year

A Fungus Among Us?

Red Thread is one of the most common fungal patch diseases found on lawns during these warm summer months. Other lawn funguses commonly found in turf grasses in New England during this time of year are Pythium and Dollar Spot.

Although it may appear unsightly, the good news is there are several disease-control options available. The best thing you can do for a diseased lawn is to aerate and nourish the soil beneath the turf.

Aeration Heals Your Lawn’s Wounds

First, start with proper lawn aeration to ensure that the lawn breathes. Aeration loosens impacted soil and enhances new growth after broadcast seeding. Broadcast seeding coupled with a top-dressing of our own “Black Gold” organic compost is the most cost-effective approach to correcting the problem that “mother nature” has created.  Broadcast Seeding and fertilization enhances new growth by 200% and ensures bare spots grow in.

What is Red Thread?

Red Thread has been running rampant on the North Shore this season. This lawn fungus appears in turf as small pinkish-red spots or patches, usually when temps are high, and humidity is higher. Infected areas eventually turn light tan, and the leaf tips or margins may be covered with fine pink to red threads, giving the turf an overall pink coloration.

Red Thread Lawn Disease
Close-up image of “Red Thread” on lawn

Red Thread takes its name from the antler like structures produced by a fungus (Laetisaria fuciformis) on the tips of its blade.  Generally, it is most severe and may cause significant damage to both perennial ryegrass and creeping red fescue. Red thread usually presents itself during warm summer temperatures. We see it most often when there is prolonged high relative humidity, dense fog or overcast skies which commonly occurs this time of year.

Symptoms of Red Thread

The infected grass will firstly be ‘bleached’ in color; the grass will turn pale cream/white. Not all grass blades will be affected, as non-infected blades may exist next to infected blades. In these circumstances the grass will appear visibly messy. In moist conditions the fungus will form the pink branching threads. Once the threads are well developed the lawn will have reddish/pinkish tinge to it in small patches, these patches may join together to form larger patches.

Treating Red Thread

First you should have your lawn evaluated and diagnosed by a professional who will identify and address your lawn’s needs. If your lawn has become infected with a fungus, there are two major ways to treat.

The first method is to allow your lawn, and the fungus, to grow out. We apply Triple 19 (19-19-19 – basic lawn fertilizer) to help the lawn with the process. This method is easier, but it takes a considerable amount of time for the lawn to grow out.

The second method is more intense, but it is quicker and more effective. Fungicide, a type of chemical, is applied to the infected area. A good approach to controlling or eliminating Red thread is having your lawn treated with the proper Fungicide. Often times it takes 2 applications of fungicide per year to help your lawn get through the season. Once your lawn has been treated, water deeply and consistently twice weekly.

lawn irrigation

When to Water your Lawn

It’s best to water your lawn early in the morning or early evening. Never water at night – it makes grass susceptible to disease.

Red Thread Lawn Fungus on the move!

The thing you need to remember is that most turf fungus is NOT a major concern. It will go away on its own with proper care. The first line of defense is aeration with compost top-dressing and broadcast seeding to rejuvenate and add missing nutrients to your soil. Secondly, timely fertilizer and fungicide applications will ensure the health of your lawn throughout the entire growing season. The third component to ensure a lush lawn is keeping up with weekly maintenance, such as a regular irrigation schedule and consistent mowing.

If you are seeing anything that looks like Red Thread on your turf, and you are not currently on our fertilization program, please let us know!   The sooner the lawn is treated the better the outcome.

Let’s Stay Positive During These Challenging Times

“Go outside for some fresh air!” How many times have we heard our parents say that to us? Maybe it’s not such bad advice… Everyone can benefit from being outside. Besides the benefit of breathing fresh air with fewer germs, being outside – whether you’re working, walking or just putzing around – has a calming effect.

As our company responds to COVID-19, the health and safety of our employees and customers remains our top priority. All of us here at Cole Landscaping, Inc. are following the guidelines set forth by the CDC, FDA, and State of Massachusetts regarding COVD-19.

Spring is our busiest time of year and we’re committed to being there when our customers and colleagues need us most.

Our offices will remain open for employees who need to work onsite, but we ask that employees take the necessary preventative measures to help limit the spread of COVID-19, such as social distancing and preventative personal hygiene.

Cole Is Keeping It Real

Outside Spring Cleanups have begun and, weather permitting, will continue to run through the end of April. We have trained all our field crews to adhere to the COVID-19 guidelines. Here are some safeguards that we put in place to protect everyone’s health and safety.

Precautions In Place

  • We will continue to provide outside property visits, but will communicate via phone/email/communication app of your choice.
  • We still provide quotes and estimates easily – you can send requests through our website: colelandscaping.com
  • Our crew will avoid handshakes and limit close contact with individuals outside their work team during the workday.
  • We have restructured start times to limit employees’ close contact at the beginning and end of each day.
  • We implemented cleaning and sanitizing schedules for all our trucks and equipment.
  • Our crew members have an adequate supply of gloves, hand sanitizer and cleaning items to use before and after touching doorknobs, gate latches or handrails as they work from property to property.
  • All these new procedures flow through all our departments as well as our outside vendors, vendor sites, and delivery sites.

Benefits From Being Outside

The best thing you can do is get outside during these challenging times. If you have children, take advantage of this time to do some exploring in your own backyard. Spring provides an abundance of new opportunities all around us. Besides chores that you may or may not want to tackle (like Spring Cleanup, Pruning, Trimming – you can leave the big stuff for us!) consider planting a garden, sowing some seeds and starting a garden diary. It will take you outside, you will learn something new and you’ll get plenty of fresh air and exercise.

Stay Healthy and Safe

We recognize that these are uncertain times. At Cole, one thing we know is that for our clients and community being outdoors is a force for good. We are excited about the upcoming season and we will continue to provide you with exceptional service and design.

Fall Checklist

Ready or not, it’s fall! Here’s a checklist to follow in autumn for a great-looking yard in the spring!

Fall is one of the best times to improve your lawn, trees, shrubs, and garden. The basic maintenance you do now will pay off in healthier growth and fewer problems next spring and summer. And because soils are still warm despite the falling temperatures, the weeks ahead are an ideal time to put many plants into the ground, no matter where you live.

You might think the checklist seems overwhelming but the good news is we are here to help! We have everything you need to get these tasks done!

Fertilize

Fall fertilizing helps keep lawns vigorous and healthy where growing seasons are long and reduces the length of a dormant period during which the lawn is an unattractive brown. We recommend two applications-the first soon afterLabor Day, the second around the last time you mow for the year.

Fall Lawn Aeration – Don’t forget Cole’s Black Gold Compost Top-dressing

Aerating involves extracting small cores of soil and perforating the soil with small holes to allow air, water and nutrients to penetrate the grass roots. This helps the roots grow deeply and produce a stronger, more vigorous lawn. Our signature compost top-dressing, lovingly called ‘Black Gold’ replenishes your soil with highly organic nutrients.

Seed or Overseed

Fall is also a good time to repair bare spots in an old lawn, or to overseed a dormant summer lawn. Seeding in fall ensures your lawn gets a head start in the spring.

Plant Fall Evergreens

Early fall planting gives new plants enough time to get their roots established before winter.

Divide and Cut Back Perennials

Fall is the perfect time to get out, enjoy the cool weather and maintain your Perennial Garden  Whether you’re cutting perennials back, dividing varieties that have grown substantially, or digging up and moving plants that didn’t do well this past season – fall is the time to do it.

Get Bulbs in the Ground

Plant your favorite bulbs now for colorful springtime blooms.

Plant Fall Annuals

Once your summer blooms fade, add color to your garden with fall annuals, such as colorful mums.

Fall Ornamental Tree and Shrub Pruning

Cut back deciduous shrubs and trees after they have dropped their foliage. New growth that starts after late-season pruning won’t harden off properly before winter. If you want to do major pruning, it’s best to cut the shrub back when it is dormant in winter.

Protect Cold Sensitive Plants

Shrubs, roses, and perennials that might succumb to blasts of cold should be protected with burlap or having them tied to protect from trees being damaged.

Fall Clean up

Prior to the first snowfall, make sure to schedule a thorough fall clean up! This fall cleanup is important for your yard so as to protect against the fallen leaves from choking your yard. Cleanup in the lawn and the property is an essential evil this time of the year.

Irrigation Winterization

Be sure to schedule Winterization of Irrigation of Irrigation Systems, Fountains, and Drip-Irrigation before the temperatures drop.

Ensure any standing water is removed from your watering equipment; store items in a dry place.

Above all, organic matter is vital to productive soils and healthy plant growth. Compost is certainly an excellent source of organic matter that promotes biologically active soil by adding beneficial microorganisms.

Survey Says: Americans Love their Yards and they are Important to a Home’s Resale Value

April is National Lawn Care Month so it is a great time to think about what your lawn and landscape do for you. Even in the age of the smartphone and T.V. show binge watching, the love affair with the American yard is not over.

According to an online survey commissioned by the National Association of Landscape Professionals and conducted by Harris Poll in May 2015, eighty-three percent of Americans think having a yard is important. Here are a few insights about the value of our lawns and backyards.

Your neighborhood’s landscaping is important.

Americans (91%) want to live in an area where they can see or walk to nice landscaping. So if you want the best chance of increasing the home prices in your neighborhood, make sure the landscaping looks good.

Your neighbors care what your yard looks like.

Seventy-one percent think it is important that their neighbors have well-maintained yards. Perhaps “good landscaping makes good neighbors” should be the new adage.

We want to enjoy our yards.

Seventy-five percent of people feel that it is important to spend time outside in their yards.

Make Life Easy with Cole’s Signature Services

What are the of Benefits of using Cole’s Signature Services?

When you hire a professional full-service landscaping company you don’t have to think twice about caring for your property. From the house cleaner to the pool service company to the plumber and electrician – it’s hard to manage a home. Add in the lawn-mowing, arborist, fertilizer specialist and irrigation company and it’s enough to drive someone nuts! So it makes sense to have one company meeting all your landscaping needs, right? Cole’s Signature Services provide a custom plan that works for you.

Ease of Working With One Company

Working with one  company for all your landscape needs makes life easier.

One company can mow, fertilize turf and plants, maintain shrubs and trees, plant seasonal flowers, handle irrigation needs and oversee your entire landscaping. Wouldn’t life be easier if you only had to contact one person when an issue or question arises?

All of your services will be scheduled ahead of time – from your spring clean-up leading into winter prep. Using one landscaping company for all your needs will certainly be in the best interest of your property.

For example, when applying fertilizer timing is crucial, as is proper watering. If your landscape company handles the irrigation for your property, they already know your watering schedule. Therefore they will be able to make adjustments while on site. If you use a separate company for irrigation, chances are that they are not going to know your fertilizer schedule. A good landscape professional will know that it is best to apply fertilizer on recently mowed turf. So if they are mowing your lawn, they know when to apply the fertilizer, gaining optimal results. As a Cole Signature Services client, you can rest assured that your landscaping maintenance is always on schedule.

Extra Set of Eyes

When one landscaping company manages a property, each manager handles a specific service(s) for your property.  The crew will look at the land with a different set of eyes to make sure there are no issues that need to be addressed. From the foreman in charge of the crews to the managers overseeing projects, there is always clear communication at all times throughout the season.

Our staff communicates with each other. If they see a problem they work collectively to find a solution. It’s in their interest to make sure the entire property is well maintained, because they are responsible for it as a company.

Warranties and Guarantees

When you hire a company to install your landscape, not everyone offers a warranty or guarantee. If you hire a full-service landscape professional and you sign up for a full maintenance package you are more likely to have warranties and guarantees.

Higher Quality of Work

With a full service landscaping company, the quality of work is generally higher. Companies providing continued maintenance after an installation project are motivated to make the landscaping look its best because all parts of the project are tied to the company.

Landscaping matures, so even if the original installation blueprint says one thing, a full-service company will monitor overall aesthetics. if the plants are not growing as planned, the landscaping company can make changes, and monitor progress throughout the seasons.

When you hire a qualified landscaping service, you’ll notice the years of experience in their craftsmanship. These highly talented individuals each have personal areas of expertise, from building hardscapes to ensuring that your lawn is immaculate. By the end of your landscaping project, you’ll marvel at the outstanding job they’ve completed. Sure, you could have tried your hand at rebuilding your backyard, but would it look as stunning as a professionally crafted lawn?

Highest Quality Materials

The landscaping industry is booming, which means there’s an overwhelming amount of materials available. For instance, it’s difficult for a homeowner to know about the different types of grass and which seed to use – not to mention what kind of drainage systems you have on your property. Perhaps you choose a certain brand of landscaping material only to find out that it is of poor quality? Professional landscapers will know exactly what materials to use on your yard. You’ll never have to worry about the wrong brand or material being applied on your lawn.
